Most People Are Handed a Machine and Sent Home

Most people diagnosed with sleep apnea are handed a machine and sent home. The airway that caused the problem is rarely imaged and rarely measured. When the machine does not work out, there is often no second step. Patients describe the same things. Eight to ten hours of sleep and still tired. Waking several times through the night. Family members mentioning the snoring. Wanting to understand the root cause rather than adding another medication.

Here, the Visit Starts by Looking

At Sleep Reset the consultation begins with 3D CBCT imaging of the airway and Eccovision acoustic rhinometry and pharyngometry, so the nose and the throat are both measured before anything is recommended. Dr. Barzaga reads both with you the same visit. From there the options sit in one place rather than across four referrals: oral appliance therapy with ProSomnus devices, non-surgical airway expansion, myofunctional therapy, and the Deka laser for snoring, coordinated with sleep physicians and other medical specialists where a case calls for it.

What Patients Say

I found Sleep Reset highly professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. What they recommended and the sleep aid with which they custom-fitted me have helped me sleep and eliminated my snoring completely, along with most episodes of sleep apnea. It's simple but new technology, and for me, far preferable to the CPAP machines I've tried.

I had my consultation at BL Dental today, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, both the assistant and the doctor showed exceptional professionalism, kindness, and genuine empathy. I came in with concerns about sleep apnea, and they took the time to listen carefully, answer all my questions, and explain my condition and treatment options in a way that was clear and reassuring. Their knowledge and expertise regarding sleep apnea were truly outstanding. What stood out most was how much they cared about my well-being. I never felt rushed, and they made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire visit.

Been having trouble sleeping for months and my doctor sent me here. They did a sleep study which felt weird but the staff made it less stressful. I had to sleep with wires on but it wasn't as bad as I thought. They explained the results in detail and turns out I had mild sleep apnea. Now I use a CPAP and my sleep is way better. I don't wake up tired anymore which is amazing. The clinic is nice but the parking lot was kind of small. Still worth it cause now I sleep through the night again.

For People Who Already Went Through This Once

Could not tolerate the CPAP?

Some patients were handed a CPAP, could not tolerate it, and quietly stopped using it. A complimentary sleep consultation is a second look at the structure, with imaging and measurement, read by Dr. Barzaga the same visit. No obligation.

Told it was not severe enough?

Others were told the sleep study was not severe enough to treat, and they are still exhausted by mid afternoon. In both cases the airway itself was never imaged. This visit looks at the structure first.

Is it comfortable?

The consultation is imaging and measurement, read with you the same visit. There is no treatment performed at this visit, so there is nothing to tolerate.

Am I a candidate?

Candidacy is confirmed at the consultation. The complimentary visit is how we find out together whether the timing is right for you.
